Academy – Eco Village – Technology Centre
- A project to offer education, home and work for everyone.
We want to set a sign, to give directions; to manifest a living situation were mankind is in harmony with creation. We want to find again, invent and protect, what makes life worth to be lived. Dignity and self esteem of the individual is one of the main focuses of the project. Ideas, religions, age, do not matter
The human being is recognized as a feeling, sensitive being, finding his destiny and self realization in communication with creation.
Those fundamental ideas are expressed in the project on all levels of a human life – including the architecture with round and natural forms and natural ecological building materials.
The academy
The academy offers – especially for young people – a practical education enabling them to learn a profession which fulfils both – the longing for self esteem and self realization – together with practical skills. The education is finished with an official diploma for certain skills, like farmer, carpenter, installation, etc.
Additionally all kinds of studies for all kinds of people can be offered.
The fundamental subject of all the studies is how to deal with nature. The students learn about ecological agriculture, study the circles of life in nature (perm culture), the use of effective microorganism (EM), e.g. by practically working. Together with the Technology Centre they get skills to produce and repair new technology items – like solar power plants, wind mills, etc.
The village
The village is the manifestation of the idea of an autarkic eco village with all its facilities.
Each family has about 1 ha ground to grow their own food. 1/3 of the ground is forest, 1/3 is garden and 1/3 is the area to live and build. There are schools, social support places, craft firms, artists’ ateliers, administration buildings, the technology centre and the hotel. They all offer a wide range of job situations for all the inhabitants of the village and even more for people coming from outside the village.
The use of alternative energy resources like wind, sun, earth and others provide autonomy also on the energetic level.
Seniors find their place in that village, find if necessary support for medical and social needs. They can share their life experience with kids and young people – and so become an important part of the community. The “Council of the Wise” will find solutions for all the topics that community life brings up – using “modern knowledge” like family constellations and other so called therapies together with “old knowledge” of indigenous cultures.
Technology centre
Wind mills, solar collectors, and other products for new “clean” technologies are made there. Together with the Academy, discoveries in technologies and agriculture are made, taught and developed. Completely new technologies are invented and researched in company with technology centres all over the world.
The project is an expression of the longing of humanity to live in peace and oneness with each other and with creation. It is the manifestation of the dream of living in paradise.
If we refuse to keep that longing – if we do not make that steps that are necessary to manifest that dream – then what is left from that longing – is an addiction – is self destruction.
For us to manifest this project is a necessity at personal and social level.

As a following the words of Lame Deer (Tahca Ushte):
“For an Indian mind the circle, the ring is an important symbol. Everything coming out from nature is round. The bodies of men and animals have no corners. For us the circle symbolizes the unity of people sitting together around the fire. Relatives and friends are sitting together in peace whilst the pipe is going from one hand to the other. The camp in which each Tipi had a certain place was a ring. The Tipi itself was a circle in which the humans were sitting together in a circle. And all the families of a camp were circles within a bigger circle. Being a part of the big ring of the seven campfires of the Sioux, that together formed one nation. That nation again is just a small part of the universe which itself is circular and consists of the earth, the sun and the stars – all of them being round again. The moon, the horizon, the rainbow – also they are circles within bigger circles without beginning without end. All that for us is beautiful and important; is both a symbol and a reality at the same time, expressing the harmony of life and nature. Our circle is without time, it never stands still, out of death comes new life – life that defeats the death.
At the contrary the symbol of the white man is the rectangle. Rectangular are his houses and office buildings. They have walls that separate the humans from each other. The door that closes the entrance for a stranger is rectangular – the money paper, the prison. Rectangular are also the machines of the white people – they are just boxes – all the TV s, radios, washing machines, computers, cars. Everything has edges and sharp corners – even the time is not round, the time of the white man is demanded by dates, time clocks and rush hours.
Lame Deer (Tace Ushte) was born around 1900 at the Rosebud reservation in South Dakota. He was medicine man of the Sioux. He was keeping the “old way” of his people. He died 1974.
The circle is the symbol of life, the symbol of the Great spirit.
